MJ Kenny teaches Pilates
mat classes with a focus on individual attention and on
bringing mind-body awareness into building up core strength.
She stresses listening to your own body, attention to
proper alignment, and gentle movements which lengthen
and strengthen core muscles. She is certified as a Pilates
Mat teacher by the National Endurance and Sports Trainers
Association. Her teaching is enriched by years of experience
in dance, yoga and bodywork. She discovered Pilates as
the capstone to a personal post-surgery rehabilitation,
and loves sharing it with others as a way to reach their
